Journalist dies in Adamawa after attack by unknown assailants
The Nigeria Union of Journalists has confirmed the death of a journalist, Maxwell Nashan, attacked by unknown assailants.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Nashan, a young reporter with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FM station, popularly known as Fombina FM, in Yola, was found unconscious in the early hours of Wednesday near the station with cuts and bruises.
Confirming the development to NAN, the Adamawa State Chairman of the NUJ, Donald Dedan, said Nashan finally died at the hospital.
