Armed policemen on December 19 invaded the premises of Tell Magazine located along Oregun Road, Ikeja and whisked away Mr. Demola Oyinlola, the Deputy Editor of the Magazine to unknown destination. Three security men who were on duty at the time of the incident were mercilessly beaten by the policemen who also took them away.

The incident happened in the area where the police team had gone, apparently in a bid to clear the area of streets destitutes.
